About this Campaign

Women whose lives have been affected by abuse need a fresh start. Many have never had careers or positive role models that can guide or help them to integrate into the workplace. Abuse Hurts (Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness – Est. 1993) provides help to over 100,000 women and children every year through approx. 100 agencies and shelters by providing clothing, house wares, toys, furnishings, personal care items and also personal make-over sessions to help boost confidence and self-esteem
